چکیده
Introduction: A variety of laser treatments have been applied in numerous medical fields. In dentistry, are used for caries, root canals, and periodontal disease, as well surgical resection. Numerous reports recently published on the use lasers bone regeneration. If irradiation is found to promote activation metabolism, it might also be effective treatment, peri-implantitis, Therefore, present vitro study aimed elucidate mechanisms underlying effects erbium-doped yttrium aluminum garnet (Er: YAG) using osteoblast-like cells. Methods: Osteoblast-like Saos 2 cells (5.0×104 cells) were seeded 24-well plates. 24 hours after being seeded, subjected 0.3 W, 0.6 2.0 W Er: YAG then allowed recover 48 hours. The expression levels metabolism-related factors alkaline phosphatase (ALP), sialoprotein (BSP), osteoprotegerin (OPG) evaluated reverse transcription–quantitative polymerase chain reaction western blot analyses. Results: at showed normal growth. When control groups compared hours, increases observed ALP, BSP, OPG gene protein group. Similar results obtained analysis. Conclusion: These findings suggest that activating metabolism factors.

“frosted” appearance. _Enamel hypoplasia (EH) is a defect in tooth enamel that results in less quantity of enamel than normal. The defect can be a small pit or can be widespread that the entire tooth is misshaped with affected mechanical properties.4 EH can occur on single or multiple teeth.6 It can appear white, yellow or brownish in color with a rough or pitted surface.6,8 In some cases, the ...
متن کاملBonding to Er-YAG-laser-treated dentin.
Er-YAG laser irradiation has been claimed to improve the adhesive properties of dentin. We tested the hypothesis that dentin adhesion is affected by Er-YAG laser conditioning. Superficial or deep dentin from human molars was: (a) acid-etched with 35% H3PO4; (b) irradiated with an Er-YAG laser (KaVo) at 2 Hz and 180 mJ, with water-cooling; and (c) laser- and acid-etched. Single Bond (3M ESPE) an...
متن کاملEffect of bracket bonding with Er: YAG laser on nanomechanical properties of enamel
BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to compare the effects of conventional acid etching and laser etching on the nano-mechanical properties of the dental enamel using nano-indentation test. MATERIALS AND METHODS In this experimental in vitro study, buccal surfaces of 10 premolars were divided into three regions. One of the regions was etched with 37% phosphoric acid and another etched with E...
